In given figure, shows a kite in which BCD is the shape of a quardrant of a circle of radius 42 cm. ABCD is a square and ΔCEF is an isosceles right angled triangle whose equal sides are 6 cm long. Find the area of the shaded region.

Area of shaded region = area quadrant + ar ECF
=θ3600×πr212×CF×CE=9003600×227×422+12×6×6
=1386+18=1404cm2
