in houses how are the devices such as fans and light connected- in series or in parallel? explain the advantages of the method of connection.

Dear student, In Parallel. As they are connected in parallel, if one appliance get damage them no other appliance get affected because current will flow through the circuit. But if they are connected in the series , circuit brakes down , no current will trough the circuit, hence other appliances will not work. Regards
