Lungs are the respiratory organs which is located in the thoracic cavity. The lungs are covered by the pleural membrane. The right lobe has three lobes, an upper, middle, and a lower, by two fissures, one oblique and one horizontal while the left lung is divided into two lobes, an upper and a lower, by the oblique fissure. The space between the membranes of the lungs is known as pleural cavity which is filled by pleural fluid.
