Preparation of Hydrogen chloride:-

Hydrogen (H₂) react with Chlorine to give Hydrogen chloride (HCl)

${\mathrm{H}}_2\left(\mathrm{Hydrogen}\right)\left(\mathrm{g}\right)+{\mathrm{Cl}}_2\left(\mathrm{Chlorine}\right(\mathrm{g}\left)\right)\to 2\mathrm{HCl}(\mathrm{Hydrochloric}\mathrm{acid}(\mathrm{aq}\left)\right)$.

Uses of Hydrochloric acid:- It is used in the preparation of fertilizers.

It is used in the rubber industry and textile industry.

Hydrogen chloride is widely used in the chemical industry as a reagent.
