Female Anopheles sucks blood from infected male and ingest both sexual and asexual form of parasite. Inside the stomach of mosquito, gamete formation occurs. One microgametocyte form 5 - 8 microgametes by the way of exflagellation. The macrogamete does not show any exflagellation and form only one macrogamete.
Trophozoite is a growing stage which absorbs nutrients from the host and lack flagella. Merozoites are also small trophozoites without flagella.
Thus, the correct answer is option (A).
