Solution

Solution:
  • Lakhina pattern:
    • Shri Anilkumar Lakhina brought about many reforms when he was the District Collector of Ahmadnagar district. Some of these included:
      • There were administrative changes such as the standardisation of work procedures and stating rules in simple language that could be understood by all the people.
      • He was also responsible for introducing the single window system in the district, which allowed people to complete jobs that they came to do under one roof.
  • Dalvi pattern:
    • Shri Chandrakant Dalvi brought about significant reforms when he was the District Collector of Pune.
    • The objective of these reforms was to speed up the decision-making process by ensuring that files were not allowed to stack up and were dealt with on the same day. It helped introduce efficiency and speed into administrative work.
  • Chahande pattern:
    • Dr. Sanjay Chahande reformed the system as the Divisional Commissioner of Nashik. He implemented the Gramastha Din (Villagers’ Day) scheme. On this day, administrative officials visit a village and establish dialogues with people. It reduced the gap between the people and the administration, increased the accountability of the administration, and prioritised developmental work.
