In Millikan's oil drop experiment what happens if we use water instead of oil?

The experiment requires precise knowledge of the mass of the drop which is calculated my measuring terminal. Velocity of drop using stokes equation for drag force. It should be obvious that the mass does not change during experiment. Water with high vapour pressure evaporates too quickly in the heat of lights.
