Mother went upstairs to try on her bathing costume and then called them up to show it. Roger was the first to enter. On being greeted by a strange apparition clothed in voluminous black costume rippling with frills, Roger went backwards barking wildly. It took them sometime to convince Roger that it was mother. He still kept looking uncertainly at mother from the corner of his eye. However mother stuck to her tent-like bathing suite and they ultimately gave up trying to convince her otherwise.
