In old monuments glass apparatus appears to be thin at top and thick at bottom. Why​

Dear Student,

Glass is a supercooled liquid. It is an amorphous solid and amorphous solid has a tendency to flow, though very slowly due to high viscosity. Therefore, on passage of time, it flows downwards and hence thickening of glass can be seen at the bottom.
