Question

In Polar molecular solids Most of them are gases or liquids at room temperature and pressure. Then my qustion is why are we calling that a Solid , if it is seen in gas or liquid

A molecular solid is a type of solid in which molecules are held together by van der Waals forces rather than by ionic or covalent bonds.
Since it is holded by weak vanderwaal force, their boiling point is much lower ,so they appear as liquid and gases

but the fact that only solid can exhibits vanderrwaal force makes it called solid
