In quadrilateral PQRS, PQ=4cm, QR= 3cm, RS= 5.9cm, QS =4.8cm and PR=5.5cm. Find the value of PS using constructions.
1 cm
Step 1: Draw PQ = 4cm
Step 2: From Q take a radius of 3cm and draw an arc. Also from P take a radius of 5.5cm and draw an arc such that it intersects the arc drawn from Q. Mark the intersection as 'R'
Step3: From Q take a radius of 4.8 cm and draw an arc. Also from R, take a radius of 5.9cm and draw an arc such that it intersects the arc drawn from Q. Mark the point as 'S'
Step 4: Join the points P,Q,R and S to get quadrilateral PQRS.
Step 5, Measure PS. It will be 1cm
