The correct option is A 0.14
In Rutherford's scattering experiment, a piece of thin gold foil was bombarded with alpha particles. It was observed that some of the alpha particles suffered a large deflection (more than 90) and some were even deflected by 180.
Since, very few particles suffered this large deflection i.e. less than or equal to 0.14 % of alpha particles scatter more than 1, it implied that the mass was present in a very small area inside an atom.
This mass was called the nucleus.
Hence, (A) is correct answer.
