If points X and Y are equidistant from point Z then d(X, Z) = d(Y, Z)
In the given question point U is -5 so d(U, R) = d(R, U) = -5 - (-6) = 1 and d(Q, U) = -4 - (-5) = 1

Hence, points R and Q are equidistant from point U.
