Area of the circle π×562

Calculating the area of shaded region we find that it is,
2×[(π×2822π×1422)+π×1422]
2×[π×2822]
π×282

Area of the remaining circle =(π×562)(π×282)

Area of the remaining circleArea of the shaded region=(π×562)(π×282)(π×282)
=π×562π×2821
=π×22×282π×2821
=41=3
Area of the remaining circle = 3 x Area of the shaded region
