Since we need points which are at an equal distance from a given point, our first logical choice of a geometrical figure would be – Circles.
In a circle, all the points on the circumference are at a constant distance from a point called the centre.
In the above problem, from P, we draw an arc which intersects the rays PA and PB as shown in the figure.
So, a part of a circle, i.e. an arc would also be at a constant distance from a given point.
