Initial volume of water in the tank is 8.125 L.

Number of buckets emptied into the tank = 2
Volume of water in each bucket = 4 L

∴ Combined volume of water in 2 buckets = 2 × 4 = 8 L

So, after the buckets were emptied, we observe:
