(i) maximum speed of the cyclist,(ii) average speed in the whole journey.

In time 0h to 2h displacement is $20km$Speed =$\frac{20}{2}=10km{h}^{-1}$

In time 3h to 5h displacement is $20km$Speed =$\frac{15}{5-3}=7.5km{h}^{-1}$

Average speed = total distance/ total time =$\frac{35km}{5h}=7km{h}^{-1}$

Hence, maximum speed $10km{h}^{-1}$ and average speed is $7km{h}^{-1}$
