The correct option is D x=1,y=3,z=1
Total number of sulphur atoms on reactant side = Total number of sulphur atoms on product side
x+y=4 --- equation (1)
Total number of hydrogen atoms on reactant side = Total number of hydrogen atoms on product side
2(x)=2(z) means x=z --- equation (2)
Total number of oxygen atoms on reactant side = Total number of oxygen atoms on product side
4(x)+7+2(y)=4+12+z ---equation (3)
On solving above three equations, we get
x=1,y=3,z=1.
