Let the current flowing through the circuit as shown in the diagram
From the circuit we have,
50=20I1
30=10I3
Further, using Kirchhoff's loop rule we get
20I1=10I2+10I3
or
2I1=I2+I3
or
I2=2A
And
I=I1+I2
Thus
I=4.5A
Now,
I4=I2I3
I4=1A -Ve means direction of current is going upwards .
