Correct answer: A current through R3=2.5A

Apply Kirchhoff's law

for left loop, (R1+R3)i1+R2(i1i2)R2=15+10=25

as no current flow through R2 so i1i2=0i1=i2

thus, (R1+R3)i1=25...(1)

for right loop, R2(i2i1)+R4i2=5

or R4i1=5 as (i1=i2)

or i1=5R4=(5/2)A

Thus, the current through R3 and R4 are equal and the magnitude of the current is (5/2)A
