In the circuit shown in figure, find the potentials of A,B, C and D and the current through 1Ω and 2Ω resistance.

Since A is grounded, potential at A, Va=0V
Potential at B,
VbVa=2VVb0=2VVb=2V
Potential at C,
VcVa=5VVc0=5VVc=5V
Potential at D,
VdVc=10VVd5=5VVd=15V
Since, Vc is greater than Vb current will flow from C to B and the magnitude will be given by
Current through 1Ω resistor = Vcb1=52=3A
Since, Vd is greater than Va current will flow from D to A and the magnitude will be given by
Current through 2Ω resistor = Vda2=1502=7.5A
