Let point A is at zero potential as shown in figure (1).

So, on moving towards $E_2$ potential of $E_2$ is 7 V.

So, the required difference will be 7 V.

Now for current,

$E_{eq}=\frac{7\times 1+7\times 1}{2}$

$E_{eq}=$ 7 V

$R_{eq}=\frac{1}{2}$

Now, circuit will reduce to (shown in figure (2))

So, i=2 Amp.
