In the circuit shown in the figure, E,F,G and H are cells of emf 2, 1, 3 and 1 V respectively. The resistances 2, 1, 3 and 1 Ω are their respective internal resistances. Calculate
(a) the potential difference between B and D
(b) the potential differences across the terminals of each of the cells G and H.

The resistance 2, 1, 3 and 1 ohm are their respective internal resistance.
All the details are calculated based on kirchoff’s law. It is the basic law ideal for analysing the circuit.
The potential difference between B and D is 213v.
The potential difference across the terminals of each of the cells G and H is 2113v
