Solution

The correct option is A $5 / 7 A$
Just after key k is press current through inductor is zero it behave like a open circuit.
So $I_{1} = I_{2}$

$V = I R$

$\Rightarrow I = \frac{V}{R} = \frac{10}{14} = \frac{5}{7} A$

Hence A option is correct.
