The correct option is D With S1 and S3 closed, V1=30V,V2=20V
A) When S1 closed, positive plate of C1 will connect to the ground. But this is a open circuit so no charge will flow. So potential becomes V1=30V and V2=20V .
B) When S3 closed, C1 and C2 are in series. So potential will not be equal. Potential across capacitors remain same . i.e, V1=30V,V2=20V
C) When C1 and C2 closed , no charge flow will occur because it is a open circuit. Potential V1=30V and V2=20V
D) In this case capacitors are connected in series and potential becomes V1=30V and V2=20V
