In the class, there are 39 boys and 65 girls. If the number of boys increased by 9 and the number of girls decreased by 5, then what is the ratio of the number of boys to the number of girls in class?

The number of boys in the class is 39 and number of girls in the class is 65.
Total number of students is equal to 39 + 65 = 104.
If the number of boys are increased by 9 and number of girls decreased by 5, then
Number of boys = 39 + 9 = 48
And the number of girls = 65 – 5 = 60.
So, the ratio of number of boys to the number of girls = 4860=45=4:5.
