Methods used for regulation of child birth (To avoid pregnancy):

1. Barrier methods: Use of condoms, femidoms and diaphragm (cervical cap)
2. Chemical methods: Use of pills
3. Surgical methods: Vasectomy in male and tubectomy in female.
4. Natural methods: Avoid copulation, rhythum method and coitus interruptus
5. Intrauterine contraceptive devices to be inserted into uterus of females for long periods.
