The correct option is B 12 cm

Given
BC=8 cm
We know that, area of a parallelogram
=Base×Height
=AB×DF
Since, AD and BE are also base and height respectively, we get,
AB×DF=AD×BE

Putting the values of AB and DF
AB×DF=16 cm×6 cm
=96 cm2
AD×BE=96 cm2

Putting the value of AD,
BE×8 cm=96 cm2
BE=12 cm
