The correct option is D 30 cm2

Length of arc of a circle is given by rθ

Let r1 = 2cm be the radius of inner circle

Let r2 = 8cm be the radius of outer circle

AB=r1θ=2θ

DC=r2θ=8θ

AD=BC=6cm

P=AB+CD+AD+BC=22cm

10θ+12=22cm

θ=1

Area of sector is given by 1/2r2θ

Area of ABCD= Area of sector CD – Area of sector AB

=12r22×1=12r21×1

=12(8222)=30cm2
