In the figure, assume that there is negligible friction between the blocks and the table. Compute the acceleration of m1 in m/s2, if acceleration of m2 due to force F is 5 m/s2 and m1=300 g,m2=200 g

Pulley is connected directly to mass m2
am2=ap (acceleration of pulley)
Now we know
ap=aB+aC2
5=0+aC2 (because AB is fixed)
aC=10 m/s2
And it is equal to acceleration of mass m1
i.e am1=10 m/s2
