$a+b=180°.....\left(2\right)\left(\text{Linear pair of angles}\right)$

Adding equation $\left(1\right)\&\left(2\right)$, we have

$2a=260°$

$\Rightarrow a=\frac{260°}{2}=130°$

Substituting the value of $a$ in equation $\left(1\right)$, we have

$130°-b=80°$

$\Rightarrow b=130°-80°=50°$
