$A B | | C D | | E F$ and $l$ and $m$ are transversal.
So by using intercept theorem
$\Rightarrow \frac{A C}{B D} = \frac{C E}{D F}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{12}{6} = \frac{C E}{2}$

$\Rightarrow C E = 4$
