(i) If x=25, what is the value of y?
(ii) If y=35, what is the value of x?

(i) If x = 25
3x=3×25=75
But AOC+BOC=180 (Linear pair)
AOC+75=180AOC=18075AOC=1052y+5=1052y=1055=100y=1002=50
If x=25 they y=50
(ii) If y= 35, then AOC=2y+52y+5=2×35+5=70+5=75
But AOC+BOC=180 (Linear pair)
75+BOC=180BOC=18075=1053x=105x=1053=35x=35
