We know that the lengths of tangents drawn from an external point to a circle are equal.

PQ = PR … (1)

We know that the radius is perpendicular to the tangent at the point of contact.

In quadrilateral OQPR:

(2)

From (1) and (2), it can be concluded that PQOR is a square.
