In the figure, resistivities of two conductors of same material are $ρ_{1} Ω - m$ and $ρ_{2} Ω - m$ respectively. Write the value of ratio of $ρ_{1}$ and $ρ_{2}$

Solution

Resistivity is a characteristic of material, and hence it is same for two resistors of same material, be of different dimensions. However the resistance of them may be different depending upon their dimensions.
Hence here $\frac{ρ_{1}}{ρ_{2}} = 1$
