Area of triangle = $\frac{1}{2}$ $\times$ base $\times$ height

$A\left(△DEF\right)=\frac{1}{2}DH\times EF$

$300=\frac{1}{2}\left(12\right)\times EF$

$EF=\frac{600}{12}$

$EF=50$ cm
