initial energy (Ei)=12mv2+12(MR2)ω2

at fianl position,
Ef=mgh+12(MR2)ω2+12(m+m)v2 ....(1)

using momentum conservation,
mv=(2m)vv=v2
on putting on eq.(2)

Ef=mgh+12(MR2)ω2+12(2m)v2

So, Ei=Ef
12mv2+1(MR2)ω2= mgh+12(MR2)ω2+12(2m)v2
on solving further,
h=v24g
