The correct option is B θ=2α

From the given diagram, we can deduce that, the incident ray IC on plane mirror PQ is parallel to the plane mirror QR.

For the ray to retrace along the same path, angle of incidence in the third reflection should be equal to 90.

Let the angle between CB and AB be x.

From CAB we get, 90+90θ+x=180x=θ

Hence, angle of incidence on plane mirror QR is θ2.

Angle of reflection on plane mirror QR is θ2.

From QAB, we can say that, α+90+90θ2=180

θ=2α
