Height corresponding to a given base in case of triangles means perpendicular dropped from the opposite vertex. It may or may not lie inside the triangle always. So, only figures 1 and 2 are correct. But figure 3 is incorrect because the height shown is corresponding to AC, not AB. The correct corresponding heights are shown in the figure below.
