As 3 F and 6 F are in series, effective capacitance between C and B is 3×63+6=2 F.

Circuit can be simplified as



It is a balanced wheatstone bridge. So, 5 F can be removed.

From circuit we can observe that, series setup of 1 F and 2 F is connected in parallel with series setup of 2 F and 4 F. So, effective capacitance between A and B is

CAB=1×21+2+2×42+4
CAB=23+43
CAB=2 F
