Charge redistribution on the plates can be considered as


At point P electric field of 3Q2 and 3Q2 will be cancelled but Q2 and Q2 will result to non zero electric field at P
So, option (a) is correct.
Now, potential difference between capacitors is
ΔV=QinC=3Q2C=3Q2C....(b)

Energy stored in the capacitor is
