FBD of block 1 and 2 :


At critical situation,

F=f1+f2+T [ For block 1 ]

F=μsN1+μsN2+T

F=0.5×2×10+0.5×3×10+T

F=25+T ........... (1)


f1=2T [ For block 2 ]

f1=μsN1=0.5×2×10=10 N

T=5 N .........(2)

Substituting (2) in (1)

F=30 N

Hence, option (c) is the correct answer.
