$R_{AC}=(R_{ad}+R_{cd})\parallel R_{ac}\parallel (R_{ab}+R_{bc})$

$=\frac{R}{2}$

$R_{BD}=(R_{ab}+R_{ad})\parallel (R_{bc}+R_{cd})$

$=R$ [since $\frac{R_{ad}}{R_{bc}}=\frac{R_{ab}}{R_{bc}}]$ Wheatstone Bridge.
