In the figure the pulley P1 is fixed and the pulley P2 is movable. If W1=W2=100 N, what is the angle AP2P1? The pulleys are frictionless.

The correct option is C 120
Let the tension in the string AP2 and P2P1 be T. Considering the forces on block W1, we get
        T=W1
    Let AP2P1=2θ


Resolving tensions in horizontal and vertical directions and considering the forces on pulleyP2, we get 
2Tcosθ=W2
Since W1=W2=T
2W1cosθ=W1 
cosθ=1/2θ=60
Therefore AP2P1=2θ=120
