The correct option is C 10 W
Two 12 Ω resistance and three 9 Ω resistance is connected in parallel. So the circuit can be redrawn as:

Now, the current will be divided at the junction in inverse ratio of resistance since the voltage is
same in parallel.
i1i2=918=12
And i=i1+i2
ii1=1+i2i1=1+2=3
We know that,
P=i2R
P10 ΩP18 Ω=(ii1)2×1018 P10Ω=10 W
Hence, option (b) is correct
