In the following figure, if m(arc DXE)=90 and m(arc AYC)=30, find DBE

By inscribed angle theorem,
mAEB=12×mAYC
=12×30=15....(1)
mEAD=12×mDXE
=12×90=45 .... (2)

Now, for ABE,DAE is an external angle. Hence
mABE+mAEB=mDAE
DBE+15=45
mDBE=30
