The correct option is B 100
Suppose the current flowing in the secondary circuit is I.
Resistance across MN=4.44+4=2 Ω
Then, VMN=I(2 Ω)=(50x cm)
Since the balancing length is 50x cm,
let the balancing length is L cm, this means,
VNC=I(4Ω)=Lx cm
VMNVNC=2I4I50xLx=12
This means L=100 cm.
