(a) Lemon-squeezer:
Since the effort arm is longer than the load arm and the fulcrum lies at one end, the lever belongs to class II and has a mechanical advantage greater than 1 and so is the velocity ratio.
(b) Claw-hammer:
Since the effort arm is longer than the load arm and the fulcrum lies in the middle the above lever belongs to class I lever and has a mechanical advantage greater than 1 and so is the velocity ratio.
