In this series, the next number is found by adding up the two preceding numbers. For example: First two numbers are $0$ and $1$, adding it we get $1$ so the third number is $2$. Again adding $2$ and $1$ we get $3$. So the fourth number is $3$. In the same way, the series goes on.
