Air pollution:

  1. It is defined as the release into the air of pollutants that are harmful to human health and the environment, including gases, particles, biological molecules, and other substances.
  2. It is caused by two types of pollutants either primary pollutants that are released directly into the air or secondary pollutant that are formed from primary pollutants.

  4. Vehicles release carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, and smoke due to the burning of petrol or diesel which are the major constituent of air pollution.

Therefore, vehicles produce high levels of pollutants like Carbon dioxide, Nitrogen oxide, Carbon monoxide, and smoke.
